Where do your funds come from?
All of our funds come from local residents and businesses that donate to our cause.
How much money does it take?
We are in our 4th year of putting on this event. To date, we have needed approximately $17,000 per year.
Are you a non-profit?
Yes, all of our funds are handled by a 501c3 non-profit organization - Forerunner Inc
Do you need volunteers?
Yes, we can almost always use additional volunteers. Some areas of frequent need are folks to help do fundraisers, host games and activities throughout the evening, running the concession stand, setting up, tearing down and clean-up after everything is over.
Who’s making money?
At this time, we have no paid staff. We operate on 100% volunteer labor. All of the money we raise goes to putting the day together or in to a savings account for the following year.
How many fireworks do you shoot?
This is a tricky one to answer… we usually shoot between 600 and 700 3”-6” shells as well as another 600-700 smaller shots from our cakes.
